Geocaching Cake

I think this is such a great cake.  I am not sure if this is done with fondant or something else, but I am going to be trying it soon.  And I can imagine that this may be only the beginning.

If I fail terribly, I have a back up plan.  Thank goodness for a grand daughter who graduated Le Cordon Bleu.
