Caching Isn't Just A Man's World

It dawned on me last weekend, while attending an event organized by Penni Parrish, aka SchnauzerQueen, that there are a lot of women partaking in this sport.  Queens' TB Rods and Dogs Meet and Greet seemed to be about a 50/50 split.  The numbers apply to the kids attending also.
The women talked about the food dishes that they brought to the event.  And they talked about their most recent caches found.  There were some great tips about making a great camo cache and the perfect hide.  All the while, cacher Joe McCarthy  was manning the grill and accepted the compliments on that great pot of beans that he made from scratch, just for the event.

What I am getting to here is that it was a completely even playing field when it comes to caching.  There were couple who cache, wives of cachers, and single women cachers.  The difference is, the women still like to talk about girl stuff.  You know what I mean.

This site will be a great chance to share caching and life experiences, from a female point of view.  Who has found what cache, what color are you painting the kitchen, where have your TBs traveled to, who is your OB/GYN, where did you get those pink sneakers  - - - You get the picture.  Sound like fun ?  Let's hope so.

I'll be depending on women cachers around the world for their input.  Please speak up and we'll all lend an ear.
